My response is always the same. “don't worry about that. That's my job”.
As your photographer, making you comfortable in front of the camera is exactly what I'm here for.

Between photography and a pretty varied working life, I've spent a lot of time working with all kinds of personalities. I know that not every approach works for everyone, and I've gotten pretty good at figuring out what someone needs. Whether that's a laugh, a distraction, or just a bit of patience.
Trust me, the camera will love you.

Friendship
Getting your photos taken is a whole lot more fun when you actually vibe with your photographer. I'm a bubbly person and I genuinely love making connections with others.
In the lead up to your session we'll be in touch, whether that's a Zoom call or a coffee catchup if you're local. These aren't just planning meetings. They're a chance to get to know each other, so that by the time the day arrives you're not turning up to meet a stranger with a camera.

Activities
A session with me isn't just about getting photos. I love to incorporate an activity or experience into our time together, it gives the session another purpose entirely.
This can be as simple as a bottle of champagne and a picnic blanket, or as extraordinary as a helicopter landing on a mountain top. If this is something you'd like to incorporate into your session make sure to let me know and we can plan what feels right for you.

Weddings
Your wedding day moves fast. I'm there from the quiet moments of getting ready to the last dance. Photographing it all with care and without fuss.
Elopements
Just the two of you, somewhere worth remembering. Whether you have a vision or no idea where to start, I've got you. Let's plan something that actually feels like you.
Couples
Engagements, anniversaries, or just because. Couples sessions with me are relaxed, fun, and built around you. Bring your dog, bring a bottle of wine, bring a good idea. Let's make an afternoon of it.

An old soul at heart, and I'm more than happy to own that. You'll usually find me knitting or crocheting, with a good book in hand, or happily chipping away at a puzzle.
That love of a good story is exactly where my photography comes from. I'm inspired by the kind of stories you get wrapped up in, whether that's in movies, music videos, books, or just the small moments of everyday life. I love romanticising life and finding beauty in the ordinary, the moments we'll look back on fondly. Photography is my way of telling those stories.
Travelling has given me a whole new appreciation for how special home really is, and Wānaka has my heart. I love getting to share its beauty with the people who trust me to tell their story here.
On the more vulnerable side, my brain has always been a little spicy (hello, ADHD). It made school a bit more interesting at times (sorry teachers), but these days I see it as one of my biggest strengths. It fuels my creativity, my curiosity, and my ability to connect with the people who step in front of my camera.
I'm Natalia, and I'm here to create an experience that feels like you. Relaxed, meaningful, and most importantly, fun.
